Timothy Hudson David Culasino Carandang, MD is a medical intern with interest in the intersection of natural and social sciences and ethics. Statistics bridges these three, thus, fascinating him as well. He is also interested in the eclectic nature of medicine, how it draws insights from other disciplines to answer bigger questions and shed light on finer details, especially on health outcomes. This is also the reason why he takes interest in public health. These interests inevitably lead to his newfound interest in planetary health.

Timothy obtained his degree of Bachelor of Science in Biology, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines Manila and his degree of Doctor of Medicine from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. He is currently finishing his internship in Ospital ng Maynila Medical Center while working as an associate preacher in his local church, Savior-King Commission Church International, and a freelance research consultant for several doctors.
