JERVEE PUNZALAN has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics, UP Manila since 2013. She was also the head of the DPSM Chemistry Unit from 2018 to 2020, and the college secretary of the College of Arts and Sciences in 2021. She was awarded as one of the Most Outstanding Teachers by the College of Arts and Sciences, UP Manila from 2016 to 2019, UP Manila Gawad Chancellor Awardee of 2020, and is a recipient of the ONE UP Faculty Grant Awards. She has also conducted workshops in PACT Chemistry Week and presented papers in the 32nd Philippine Chemistry Congress, 17th Asian Chemical Congress (Australia) in 2017, and CHEMECA 2018 in New Zealand. She is also a member of the GAEA Research Laboratory and has current collaboration with the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute. At the moment, she is pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at the University of Otago in New Zealand.
